Bill de Blasio Is ‘A Little Sick’ of Bloomberg’s ‘Royal’ Reign

Bill de Blasio has had it with Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Mr. Bloomberg gave his final State of the City address last week, earning a round of condemnations from some of the Democratic mayoral hopefuls who wish to replace him, including Comptroller John Liu and former Comptroller Bill Thompson. Yesterday, on Up Close with Diana Williams, Mr. de Blasio joined the mayoral peanut gallery.

Mayor Bloomberg Won't Anoint a Chosen Heir–Just Yet

Mayor Michael Bloomberg won’t be making endorsements in the race to replace him any time soon.

At a press conference in The Bronx today, The Politicker asked Mayor Bloomberg about former Mayor Ed Koch’s endorsement of City Council Speaker Christine Quinn in the 2013 mayoral election. Mayor Bloomberg said he isn’t ready to make a pick in the campaign.

“It’s much too early. Ed’s got the time to do it, I’ve got to focus,” Mayor Bloomberg said to laughs from the audience. Read More
