The uptown political world is already buzzing with the news that State Senator Adriano Espaillat is laying the groundwork to mount a campaign against 21-term incumbent Congressman Charlie Rangel, despite Mr. Rangel’s announcement that he will seek re-election. 

But now it appears as if that race has already gotten more crowded as former Democratic National Committee head Clyde Williams announced that he too has thrown his hat into the ring:
