Obama Event to Feature Rangers Great

At the White House tomorrow morning, President Barack Obama and government officials will pay tribute to the work sports industry leaders have done to reduce energy usage, and among those leading the event is New York Rangers legend Mike Richter.

Mr. Richter led the team to the Stanley Cup title in 1994 and is known as one of the stronger goalies in NHL history. Since then, he earned a degree from Yale with an emphasis on environmental policy and involved himself in various environmental advocacy organizations.
