The sad news emerged this morning that Newark Congressman Donald Payne passed away, and Brooklyn Congressman Ed Towns, who served alongside him for more than two decades, announced his sadness regarding his friend’s passing.

TRENTON – Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce, 75, has died.
DeCroce collapsed about 11 p.m. Monday in the legislative wing of the Statehouse following a late-night voting session. Shocked lawmakers, aides, and operatives milled around as EMTs attended to DeCroce, who was said to have been feeling ill before leaving the chamber. Read More
