Gov. Andrew Cuomo sent a letter to President Barack Obama this afternoon asking for more financial assistance for upstate counties effected by flooding due to Tropical Storm Lee.
“Tropical Storm Lee caused severe flooding in both Orange and Ulster counties,” said Governor Cuomo. “Residents, farmers, local governments and businesses need federal aid in order to fully recover from the damage.
