Parkside Group, a prominent political consulting company involved in a plethora of campaigns around the state, but especially New York City, is expanding, the firm announced today. In addition to promoting Jake Dilemani to Vice President, they’ve hired AJ Schmitz, Ron Kim and Pat McKenna.

Mr. Schmitz, the press release explained, will be the company’s new Creative Director. He previously worked as an art director at HBO and the History Channel. Mr. Kim and Mr. McKenna, meanwhile, will be hired as Associates. Mr. Kim is a former staffer for two New York governors, the City Council, and then-Assemblyman Mark Weprin, in addition to being a former Vice President of the Korean American Association of Greater New York.
