Attorney and activist Yetta Kurland is having a rather artistic fundraiser with illustrator Peter Max tomorrow, hosted with his wife at the Peter Max Gallery on 65th St. Ms. Kurland is currently campaigning for term-limited Council Speaker Christine Quinn’s seat next year.

This is not the first time Ms. Kurland has raised money at the Peter Max Gallery — she did it in 2009 when she challenged Ms. Quinn and scored a respectable 31% of the vote as well. Read More
