Michigan Democrats take to YouTube against Romney

Via The Fix, following in the footsteps of the state Democrats' RomneyFacts.com, the Michigan Democratic Party is taking to YouTube to attack Mitt Romney -- pre-nomination.

Unlike the sense of duty to tell the country what Romney said to Massachusetts to get elected in 2002, this web-video focuses on the economy. Could have something to do with Romney's repeated knocks on Michigan's Democratic Gov. Jen Granholm.

Attention Romney surrogates

An item in the Wall Street Journal makes the case that Republican John McCain could pick up Michigan's 17 usually-blue electoral votes if he makes all the right moves -- which might include picking Gov. Mitt Romney.

Some of this speculation is made off of the argument that Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm has the low approval rating of 30%.

But attention Romney surrogates: that's a tenuous argument.
