Huckabee featured in ad for N.H. state senator in tough congressional primary

During the final days of a tough congressional primary campaign, New Hampshire state Sen. Bob Clegg has turned to an old friend to help his campaign: former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. In a new radio ad, Huckabee, who unsuccessfully ran for the Republican presidential nomination, praises Clegg's stances on a variety of conservative issues.

The ad sponsored by the New Hampshire chapter of Americans for Prosperity criticizes Shaheen's energy plan.

Stephen begins first radio ad featuring Thompson

Former Health and Human Services Commissioner John Stephen (R-Manchester) has released a radio ad featuring Tommy Thompson.

In the ad, Thompson, a former Wisconsin governor and former secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, praises Stephen for his efforts to reform welfare.

Obama on the air for Gregoire

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.)Gov. Chris Gregoire's campaign has just gone up with another radio ad airing throughout Western Washington. This latest one features the voice of an out of state politician, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

 "I want to ask you to join me in supporting Gov. Chris Gregoire," the Illinois Senator says at the beginning of the ad.

It then continues to push the Gregoire campaign's big picture themes of running against the agenda of the Bush administration.

Larsen launches second radio ad

Rep. Rick Larsen (D-Arlington) is on the air in Northwest Washington's 2nd Congressional District with his second radio advertisement of the campaign. The new ad is a 60-second spot on high fuel prices and Larsen's votes in congress to reduce prices by stopping price gouging by oil companies.

Larsen's first ad focused on his work toward expanding veterans health care services in the 2nd District. His opponent, Arlington Republican Rick Bart, has yet to go on the air and after a promising start has run into money woes, even ending the second quarter in the red before raising enough in July to pay off hid debts.

Sierra Club releases TV ad

The National Sierra Club has begun airing a television ad that criticizes U.S. Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) energy plan. The ad buy was first reported by PolitickerNH.com earlier this week.

The Sierra Club has also been airing a radio ad that defends U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester).

RNC begins airing radio ad in Berlin, N.H.

While U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is visiting Berlin, Germany voters in Berlin, New Hampshire will hear a radio ad critical of Obama's record on troop funding.

The Republican National Committee is sponsoring the sixty-second ad titled "Obama Chooses Washington over Our Military."

Bradley aims at Shea-Porter in first ad

Republican Congressional candidate Jeb Bradley released the first television and radio ads of his campaign and the first non-presidential related ads in New Hampshire this cycle.

The ads, titled "The Right Kind of Change," began airing on WMUR this morning. Intead of focusing on his primary against John Stephen the ads goes entirely after Democratic U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter.
