Former Congressman Anthony Weiner's media marathon today was even more expansive than it initially appeared, spanning at least six local channels as he seeks to repair his tarnished brand in the wake of an infamous Twitter scandal that forced his exit from Congress two years ago. In several of the interviews, Mr. Weiner hinted that additional lewd photographs or stories about his digital sex life could emerge, but he perhaps went the furthest on the topic with FOX 5's Ti-Hua Chang.

"I'm sure that stuff is going to come out," he answered when asked if anything "salacious" may still arrive. "Some of it may be true, some of it not ... But I'm certainly not going to do anything more to bring anything up. But I know that people are digging around all the time."

Mr. Weiner, who's exploring a campaign for mayor, further said that some of women he contacted online may decide to sell their stories for attention, but suggested the press could simply ignore them going forward.

"Some of them have willingly come out and sold their stories," he explained. "Some of them may want to do that again. But I can tell you this, it's going be up to you. If you don't put them on the air and you don't want to talk about it anymore, believe me, you'll have a willing partner with me."

The former congressman expressed his hope that no matter what revelations may still be headed his way, they fundamentally won't provide anything new to a well-tread story.

"Can I tell you something?" he asked Mr. Chang. "People know the story at this point. I mean, people know I did it. People know that I did it with multiple women. They know the pictures--they're all out there. But I'm not going to say to you that no one is going to release another picture or there's nothing else going on. People may hear things that are true or not true. But I'll tell you this, I'm done talking about it. If people want to come out and say things, they can. I'm hopeful that I'm putting this behind me."

And, as far as whether his mayoral campaign will indeed turn into a reality, Mr. Weiner said there was "a good chance."

Mr. Markowitz, of course, was referring to Mr. Seddio's ascendancy in the Kings County Democratic Party after sexual harassment allegations destroyed Assemblyman Vito Lopez's ability to hold onto the reins of power. Now, Mr. Seddio's annual holiday party, entitled Canarsie Christmas, is the place to be for Brooklyn pols seeking the formal backing of the borough's Democratic establishment, as well as anyone who enjoys gigantic Christmas displays.

"Thank you for keeping this tradition done every year," Mr. Markowitz added. "Not only is it great for those that celebrate Christmas, but a lot of us that celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas because of Frank Seddio! Happy holidays! Happy Kwanzaa! Happy--merry Christmas! Happy every holiday we celebrate in Brooklyn and then some!"

Although the rain dampened the crowd, a number of other elected officials made the trek to praise Mr. Seddio, who was dressed in a Santa costume complete with a hat encircled with blinking Christmas lights. The list of politicians in attendance included State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli making his inaugural pilgrimage to the event, likely candidates for the Brooklyn borough presidency Councilman Domenic Recchia and State Senator Eric Adams, and Councilwoman Tish James, who's campaigning citywide for public advocate. There were also at least two mayoral counters, former Comptroller Bill Thompson and current Comptroller John Liu.

"Even when he was a nobody he used to come here," Mr. Seddio fondly said in his introduction of Mr. Thompson, probably the favored candidate of Brooklyn's political establishment. “It's my hope that God gives him all of the wishes that he has."

"Thank you Frank. If it's wrapped up in my tree, it means I'll be the next mayor of the City of New York," Mr. Thompson responded as he took the stage. "Look, let me just say to everybody, the Seddio tradition--not just in Canarsie, all across of New York--people from all over the city come here during the holiday season. It makes it just a little bit more special."

Sometimes they've sent warnings to their constituents as well. “By the way, lots of people there at cusp of water taking pictures and frolicking about," Staten Island Councilman Jimmy Oddo wrote to his Facebook followers when he visited what used to be a beach. "As Mom used to say, it's fun and games until someone gets swept into the ocean and washes up dead on Sandy Hook. Or was it it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye? Or no ball playing in the house? I digress."

World leaders gathered in Los Cabos, Mexico for the seventh annual Group of 20 summit on Monday. As part of the festivities, all of the assembled heads of state posed for a cheerful family photo--except for one. According to the White House pool report from the photo shoot filed by the Wall Street Journal's Carol Lee, photographers asked the leaders to wave for the cameras and Russia's once and future strongman Vladimir Putin declined to pose for the picture.

"They all said to wave to the cameras, and most of them did. President Putin didn’t wave," Ms. Lee wrote.

There were several other priceless details in Ms. Lee's dispatch from the high powered photo shoot. Apparently, despite being surrounded by twenty other world leaders, President Barack Obama "was chewing gum the whole time." India's prime minister, Manmohan Singh, arrived late and, according to Ms. Lee, he was subjected to grade school-style teasing for his tardiness.

"At 7:13pm, Prime Minister Singh of India entered and took his spot in between [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel and [British Prime Minister David] Cameron. The leaders chided him with 'Oooh…' and laughed," Ms. Lee wrote.

Ms. Lee also took note of the soundtrack in the room where the photo was taken.

"Your pool and lots of other pools have so far clocked three hours in this room unable to escape the alternating techno/80s pop music blaring from the sound system in here," she wrote.

The music eventually "transitioned to Christina Aguilera."

In addition to posing for pictures, playfully teasing the Indian prime minister and enjoying the timeless pop hits of the 1980's, the heads of state at G20 also discussed global affairs. Reportedly, the potential Eurozone debt crisis dominated the conversation.

Here is a photo of Ron Paul wearing a backwards hat and waving his hands in the air like he just doesn't care.

As you can see in the reflection, the hat says "Ron Paul 2012."

We're not sure where this picture was taken, but it was posted by Billy Ryals Jr., an enthusiastic supporter of Mr. Paul in Mississippi.

Mr. Paul may not have a shot at winning the Republican nomination any more, but his supporters have a strategy to make a splash and make things tough for Mitt Romney in Tampa at the GOP convention in August.

Here is a photo of the Bush administration's "torture memo" author John Yoo posing with Darth Vader. Sorry to disappoint any conspiracy theorists desperate for evidence of evil intergalactic villain forces at work in the White House, but in spite of their smiling photo together, Mr. Yoo and Mr. Vader aren't actually friends.

Mr. Yoo encountered a man dressed as the Dark Lord of the Sith at the 2012 symposium of Stanford University's Federalist society and they snapped this picture together. According Federalist Society membet Ilan Wurman, who posted a picture of the meeting, the costumed Darth Vader was actually there to demonstrate against Mr. Yoo and didn't realize who he was posing with.

"Darth doesn't recognize John Yoo, the man he is protesting," Mr. Wurman wrote.

Mr. Yoo is currently a professor at Berkeley law school. The so-called "torture memos" he wrote provided the legal rationale for the government to use "enhanced interrogation techniques" such as waterboarding and sleep deprivation.

The festivities discussed so far at trial aren't the only ones the Espadas threw for the former senator's grandson. On Facebook, Pedro G. Jia "Jenny" Hou, the 25-year-old treasurer of John Liu's mayoral campaign was arrested on fraud charges this morning for allegedly  "participating in a scheme that used ‘straw donors’ to funnel to the campaign" with "large, illegal contributions that were well above the individual limit." Her Facebook page indicates Ms. Hou is a native of Beijing who lives in Flushing and has studied at Rutgers. Ms. Hou is the second person arrested in conjunction with the investigation into Mr. Liu's fundraising. 

According to Goldsea Asian American News, Ms. Hou was recruited to be Mr. Liu's campaign treasurer late last year by his aide, Mei Hua Ru, who was "the conduit between Liu and the Chinese community business people who have become the backbone of his highly successful fundraising efforts." According to campaign finance reports, Ms. Hou was paid $3,075 for her work on the campaign. Even after Ms. Hou joined the campaign, Goldsea said Ms. Ru "remains the primary conduit to Liu." Ms. Hou's father, Hou Jianli, who emigrated from Beijing the year she was born, is a Liu supporter and president emeritus of the Beijing Association of New York. Mr. Hou owns a fire safety company in Queens.

Ms. Hou worked on Mr. Liu's 2009 campaign for comptroller. Her Facebook page features an album full of pictures of her staffing several events alongside Mr. Liu and posing happily with other campaign volunteers. She also posted a photo of one of a flyer for one of Mr. Liu's rivals in the 2009 comptroller's race, David Weprin, defaced with devil horns.
