Real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump unveiled his announcement of “something very, very big concerning the president of the United States” this afternoon. Mr. Trump’s promised major revelation prompted widespread rumors he might reveal something about President Barack Obama’s marriage or past drug-related activity. In the end, Mr. Trump used Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to present a deal he hopes will yield new information about the president’s college years.
“I have a deal for the president–a deal that I do not believe he can refuse. If Barack Obama agrees (or has the universities and colleges agree) to give all of his college records and applications and if he provides all of his passport records and applications, I will give to a charity of his choice…a check for five million dollars,” Mr. Trump said in a press release that was posted on his Facebook and Twitter pages. Heidi Anne Wys, an adviser to Puerto Rico House Speaker Jenniffer González, has tweeted racist things about President Barack Obama over the course of the last month or two, and Councilwoman Melissa Mark-Viverito is just not going to take it anymore.
“Wah! Wah! I feel like vomiting! Dinner with a guy borned in Kenya and claims he was borned in Hawaii!” Ms. Wys tweeted at the President offering contributors the chance of dining with him back in June, for example.
Long Island Rep. Peter King appeared on the local Fox affiliate yesterday and slammed President Barack Obama’s Israeli policy as a vote on Palestinian statehood looms at the United Nations General Assembly this week.
“He was the one who suggested some moral equivalency between the Israelis and the Palestinians, the Israelis and the Iranians,” Mr. King said.
