During an appearance on Fred Dicker’s radio show, “Live from the State Capitol,” New York’s Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo told Mr. Dicker he thought results of elections around the state were a “big victory” for his party and showed New York voters rejecting the G.OP. He also said his favorable poll numbers prove New Yorkers are “proud” of their government
Democrats came away with victories in several of yesterday’s biggest races, but it’s too soon to say whether they managed to take the seat in New York’s 148th Assembly District and Republicans’ ability to block a veto override along with it. Many of the night’s winners were endorsed by Governor Cuomo, who made a point of involving himself in local races this year.
