Pre-K Campaign Launches Robocalls to Thank State Assembly

A nonprofit lunched to push Mayor Bill de Blasio’s signature prekindergarten plan made over 200,000 robocalls last night to tout its progress, Dan Levitan, a spokesman for UPKNYC, told the Observer this morning.

Joe Lhota Backs Obamacare Delay

Although he condemns his party’s federal representatives for the partial government shutdown currently gripping Washington, Republican mayoral candidate Joe Lhota today endorsed one of their top demands: delaying the individual health care mandate.
