Jeff Boss, who has made a name for himself by putting up posters around the city proclaiming that he "WITNESSED THE NSA ARRANGE THE 911 ATTACKS" will be running for mayor next year. In addition to his mayoral bid, Mr. Boss, who is something of a perennial candidate, has his eye on the Governor's Mansion in New Jersey, the White House and the Town Hall in Guttenberg, New Jersey, just across the Hudson from Manhattan.

Mr. Boss officially registered his mayoral campaign last Thursday. He also announced his intention to run for mayor of New York City on his website, BossForSenate.com where he posted a lengthy, all-caps list entitled "Things I will do for you as Mayor of NYC."

Mr. Boss's platform includes; building over one million units of low-income housing with rent that is not more than $600 per month, legalizing sports betting and table casinos, extending the subway to Staten Island, building dikes, sea walls and "AIRTIGHT COVERS FOR THE VENTS OF THE SUBWAYS," renovating LaGuardia Airport, allowing dogs in theaters and restaurants "LIKE THEY ARE IN FRANCE" and changing gun laws so that anyone found in possession of an illegal gun faces first degree murder charges.

"I HAVE MANY GREAT IDEAS AND PLANS TO MAKE NYC THE BEST AND FINALLY AFFORDABLE TO THE MIDDLE CLASS AND POOR TO LIVE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE IN NEW YORK CITY," Mr. Boss wrote. "PLEASE TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT JEFF BOSS FOR MAYOR."

Along with his mayoral campaign platform, Mr. Boss's website includes his promises to run in next year's New Jersey gubernatorial race and the mayoral race in Guttenberg, New Jersey. According to the registration for his New York mayoral campaign, Mr. Boss currently lives in New Jersey. However, he is eligible to run for mayor in New York, as city law only requires mayoral hopefuls to establish residency in the five boroughs within 90 days of taking office.

Mr. Boss is no stranger to campaigning. His site claims he has previously run for the House of Representatives, U.S. Senate and president in 2008 and 2012. It also says he has already filed to run for president again in 2016.

In addition to the information for his various campaigns, Mr. Boss's website contains his many, many accusations against the National Security Agency including that the agency gave hush money to people who witnessed them plan the September 11 attacks, "poisoned" firemen who worked at ground zero and "doctored" President Barack Obama's birth certificate.

"THE NSA HAS A CHEF IN ALMOST EVERY RESTAURANT TO POISON FOOD & THE NSA KILLS 100,000 OF AMERICANS PER YEAR," wrote Mr. Boss.

Mr. Boss also believes the agency has targeted him personally and is trying to kill him.

"EVERYTIME I POST SOMETHING THE NSA DELETES OR CHANGES THE INFORMATION," he wrote. "MICROWAVE RADIATION COMING FROM THE SEATS IN JEFF'S CARTHE NSA HAS BUGED & POISONED MY HOME,OFFICE,& CAR."

A quote from a letter promoting one of Ron Paul's early 1990's politics and investing newsletters has come back to haunt him. In the eight page missive, which was mailed in 1993, Congressman Paul warns of a "coming race war in our big cities," "the federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS" and a government scheme to track people with "New Money" that ends with armed IRS agents on your doorstep. 

"I uncovered the New Money plans during my last term in the U.S. Congress, and I held the ugly new bills in my hands," wrote Congressman Paul. "These totalitarian bills were tinted pink and blue and brown, and blighted with holograms, diffraction gratings, metal and plastic threads and chemical alarms. It wasn't money for a free people. It was a portable inquisition."

Congressman Paul, who served in the House of Representatives from 1979 to 1989 prior to his latest stint said he learned of many secret government plots during his time in office. In one interestingly punctuated graph, he described many of these schemes:

"I've been told not to talk but these stooges don't scare me. Threats or no threats, I've laid bare the coming race war in our big cities. The federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS, (my training as a physician helps me see through this one) The Bohemian Grove--perverted, pagan playground of the powerful. Skull & Bones: the demonic fraternity that includes George Bush and leftist Senator John Kerry, Congress; Mr. New Money. The Israel lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica. And the Soviet-style 'smartcard' the Justice Department has in mind for you."

Congressman Paul has already faced controversies over the content of his newsletters and disavowed their contents. Over the weekend he walked out of a CNN interview after being questioned about the newsletters.

"I didn’t write them, I disavow them, that’s it," Congressman Paul said.

Despite his disavowal of the newsletters, Congressman Paul hasn't yet denied writing promotional materials for the newsletters. This latest correspondence, which was uncovered by Reuters and The New Republic contributing editor James Kirchik, bears Mr. Paul's signature.

Herman Cain wears many hats. He's a former CEO, politician, columnist, poet and, according to conspiracy theorists in deep, dark corners of the internet, he just might be the antichrist. 

Though the concept of an antichrist is mentioned only three times in the Bible, it has become a central element of many Christian apocalyptic prophecies. Recently, theories that Mr. Cain is the antichrist have surfaced in several online forums, on Facebook, YouTube and multiple times in the center of all intelligent discussion on the internet, Yahoo Answers. Believers mainly cite Mr. Cain's last name and his "9-9-9 tax plan."

In the old testament, Cain is one of the two sons of Adam and Eve and he is the first human to commit murder after he kills his brother Abel. According to the Christian Book of Revelations, the number "666" is the "mark of the beast," a creature that gathers armies to fight against God. Many of those who believe Mr. Cain is a harbinger of the apocalypse point out that "9-9-9" becomes "666" when inverted. Mr. Cain's opponent, Michele Bachmann, referenced this during the Republican debates October 11.

"When you take the ’9-9-9 Plan’ and you turn it upside down, I think the devil’s in the details,” Ms. Bachmann said.

Stratus9, a user on the conspiracy forum AboveTopSecret posted perhaps the longest and most detailed summary of purported connections between Mr. Cain and the antichrist mythos.

"The name 'Herman' is from Hari-Mann translated from the old Germanic 'Army Man' or 'Leader of the Army'. ... In Greek and Jewish translations, 'Cain' refers to the Son of Satan. ... Herman Cain's full name means Leader of the Army of Satan. ... Cain's speaking ability is touted by many to have a 'miraculous' capability to turn people to his way of thinking," Stratus9 wrote.

So far, the Herman Cain antichrist theory doesn't seem to have reached full on meme status. Google Insight for Search has no estimate of how many internet users searched for the phrase "Herman Cain Antichrist" in the past year because there's "Not enough search volume." As contrast, "Obama antichrist" is a rather popular search.
