One of the biggest gaffes during last night’s presidential debate came from the moderator, CBS News Chief Washington Correspondent Bob Schieffer, who accidentally referred to the late Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden as “Obama bin Laden” while discussing Pakistan. Bachmann Campaign Manager: ‘Liberal Mainstream Media Elites are Manipulating the Republican Debates’

Michele Bachmann’s campaign manager, Keith Nahigian, is still mad about an internal email CBS News staffers accidentally forwarded to the Minnesota Congresswoman’s communications director prior to last night’s debates.

In the message, new CBS News political director John Dickerson told a staffer he didn’t want to make a firm commitment to book Ms. Bachmann on his post-debate webshow.

Today, Mr. Nahigian sent an email to supporters claiming the message proved the existence of liberal bias, not only at CBS News, but throughout the mainstream media. Read More

Bachmann Campaign Accuses CBS News of Bias

Minnesota Congresswoman’s Michele Bachmann’s campaign staff went ballistic after one of her communications director, Alice Stewart, was mistakenly CC’d on an internal CBS News email. In the message, newly minted political director John Dickerson said he’d rather interview someone else on his post-debate webshow. Congresswoman Bachmann’s staffers responded by accusing CBS of bias and calling for Mr. Dickerson’s head.
