Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is one of President Barack Obama's biggest cash cows. The New York Times published a ranking of Mr. Obama's top bundlers for the current election cycle this week. Ms. Wintour came in fourth on the list of these influential power fundraisers who accumulate checks from friends and business associates.

As of May, Ms. Wintour bundled $2,682,001 during 2011 and 2012. The three people ahead of her on the list for the current cycle are the Democratic National Committee Treasurer Andrew Tobias, retired JP Morgan VP Azita Raji and P.R. exec Michael Kemper. In addition to her status this year, counting her numbers for the last election cycle, Ms. Wintour is one of the four top Obama presidential campaign bundlers ever with a grand total of $5,448,371 raised.

Along with the money she's gathered from friends and minions, Ms. Wintour personally gave President Obama the maximum donation of $5,000 for this election cycle. Last time around, she gave him $750. President Obama isn't the only beneficiary of Ms. Wintour's political largesse. Federal campaign finance reports show she has made $96,450 in political donations since 2004.

On Wednesday, First Lady Michelle Obama will attend a fundraising reception at the swank Pierre Hotel on 61st Street. According to a campaign official, tickets for the event will start at $250 per person with proceeds benefitting the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.

The First Lady and President Barack Obama are spending a lot of time in New York City this month. Tonight, President Obama will be appearing with former President Bill Clinton at a fundraiser at the New Amsterdam Theater, which is normally home to Disney's Broadway show, Mary Poppins.

On June 14, the president and the First Lady will attend a fundraiser at the home of Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker. That event will also be attended by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and two Obama supporters chosen from an online contest.

Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour is using her reputation as a demanding fashion editrix to raise money for President Barack Obama. On Sunday, Ms. Wintour sent an email with the subject line "I take deadlines seriously" reminding Obama supporters of the contest for donors to win a chance to attend Sarah Jessica Parker's fundraiser for the president this month.

"There's simply no excuse to let this slip," Ms. Wintour wrote with her trademark dose of mild menace. "I don't do this sort of thing often--get involved with politics, that is. But I'm doing everything I can to support President Obama this summer and fall because it's important that we all do."

Though Ms. Wintour says she doesn't generally get involved in politics, federal campaign finance reports show she has made $96,450 in political donations since 2004. The beneficiaries of Ms. Wintour's largesse include John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Hillary Clinton's 2005 Senate campaign, the unsuccessful congressional bid of former Houston Mayor Bill White andLong Island Congressman Tim Bishop.

Since 2008, Ms. Wintour has given $71,200 to the DNC. In 2008, she gave President Obama $750 for his White House bid. This time around, Ms. Wintour gave President Obama $5,000.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand might be a rising star in Washington D.C., but that doesn't mean she can't take a moment to enjoy herself at New York City's Fashion Week. Indeed, she was spotted by Women's Wear Daily in the front row of a Carolina Herrera show yesterday morning.

“I love Carolina’s history in terms of dressing First Ladies, being part of our culture over the last several decades,” Gillibrand said to the publication. “I think it’s important to come show my support for her specifically, and I personally really admire her designs. They’re ones that I can definitely wear.”

Ms. Gillibrand came as a guest of Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Vogue notably gave Ms. Gillibrand fashion credentials in 2010 when she was glowingly profiled and stylishly photographed wearing Michael Kors pieces.

Ms. Gillibrand's outfit yesterday was by yet another elite designer, Elie Tahari.

She raised $134,298 during the Anthony Weiner scandal (5/27/11 -- 6/17/11).

She's gotten donations from Anna Wintour ($1,000), DNC Finance Chairman Andrew Tobias ($1,000), model Lily Aldridge ($1,500). Irish Voice editor Debra McGoldrick donated $4,950. Another editor there, Nial O'Dowd, also donated $4,950.

Mark Hsiao, husband of car sales giant Howard Koeppel -- who housed Rudy Giuliani during his divorce -- donated $2,700.

And the Brooklyn Daily Eagle Publisher John Hasty, donated $1,000.
