Rendell: Obama’s consideration of Clinton shows he’s 'at peace with himself'

Gov. Ed Rendell on Thursday said that U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) would make a good Secretary of State, saying on MSNBC that "she'd bring prestige to the office," and he credited President-elect Barack Obama for considering her.

"I think President-elect Obama deserves tremendous credit for his willingness to put so many strong, independent personalities in the cabinet," Rendell said. "It shows a real leader who's at peace with himself.

"Does it make sense for Hillary?" he added. "That's for her to decide."
