A Saint Anselm College poll shows U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) and U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord) beating their Republican opponents.
This is the first poll that has shown Shea-Porter ahead of former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro).
Shea-Porter is ahead of Bradley 42 percent to 35 percent in the 1st Congressional District. While, Hodes is beating Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) 35 percent to 18 percent in the 2nd Congressional District. However, the poll finds that 45 percent of voters are undecided in the Hodes-Horn race and 21 percent are undecided in the Shea-Porter-Bradley race.

The poll also has good news for Gov. John Lynch (D-Hopkinton) who is ahead of his opponent, state Sen. Joe Kenney (R-Wakefield) 73 percent to 7 percent.
The polling was conducted from September 25-30 and has a margin of error of 5 percentage points for the congressional districts.
