Pittsburgh Post-Gazette cartoonist leaves convention due to death of father

Rob Rogers, the editorial cartoonist for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, was forced to leave Minnesota today before the end of the Republican National Convention to spend time with his hospitalized father, who died at 1 a.m. this morning after battling cancer.

Our prayers go out to Rob and his family.
