The Illinois Federation for Right to Life Political Action Committee has endorsed Sauerberg because he has promised "to vote to protect unborn children" and "has also indicated his support for the disabled and those who are endangered by disability and age, according to a statement.

According to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, Durbin is leading Sauerberg, 60 percent to 31 percent.
