AP calls it for Kratovil

The Associated Press projects that state Attorney Frank Kratovil (D-Stevensville) has defeated Andy Harris (R-Cockeysville) in the contest for Maryland's 1st Congressional District.

Kratovil's lead has increased to 2,003 votes after counting some absentee ballots, although additional provisional and absentee ballots remain to be counted. Still, the AP writes that "it would be nearly impossible for Harris to reverse the trend in which he has been losing nine of the 12 counties in the district."
