Glenn Beck, the outspoken conservative talk-show host, has never been a fan of Bill de Blasio.
During the mayoral election, Mr. Beck went on an extensive monologue about the dangers of a potential Mayor de Blasio, accusing him of being a “Marxist communist with a history of supporting terrorism.”
With Mr. de Blasio’s victory last night, Mr. Beck returned to the subject to warn New Yorkers about the Democrat’s expected administration next year. Echoing a campaign argument made by Joe Lhota, Mr. de Blasio’s vanquished opponent, Mr. Beck said New York would soon plunge into a new era of crime.
“This guy is going to make your life a living hell,” Mr. Beck predicted on his BlazeTV program.
“You won’t be able to travel to that city soon,” he added. “He’ll destroy it.”
