Bob Turner endorsed Russ Gallo.

Kirsten Gillibrand and other theoretical 2016 contenders addressed the Iowa delegation.

Tom Duane said Gillibrand is a “good fit for Iowa,” and speculated that all senators see themselves in the White House.

Keith Wright said of her possible presidential ambitions, “All I say about Kirsten Gillibrand is: May the Force be with you.”

The New York delegation gets to sit in the very, very back of the convention hall.

Wright’s spin on the seating location:

“I made the analogy that whenever I go to a football game and my father could not afford the great tickets on the 50 yard line, he said, ‘The better seats are those that are way up top so you can really see the football game. We have great seats.”
