The Park Slope Food Co-op may have voted down the controversial ban of a handful of Israeli food products last night, but that won't stop outside observers from making fun of the entire debate.

The Daily Show, filmed before the ultimate vote took place, made sure to wade into the discussion.

"The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has raged for decades with countless casualties on both sides," the show's segment began, displaying militaristic scenes from the violence. "But perhaps there's one aspect of this war that's most tragic of all: the Park Slope Food Co-op in Brooklyn, New York."
