As shameless self-promoters, celebrities hate to share the limelight. Before posing for photos, stars tend to clear the space around them, ensuring they have the frame to themselves. There are, it seems, two exceptions to this rule: children in orphenages and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
This weekend, our dauntless Mayor schmoozed with the cast of Gossip Girl to celebrate the show’s 100th episode. The moments were immortalized in some priceless photos depiciting the unlikely scene: leggy Blake, disheveled Penn in a “We are the 99%” graphic-T (complete with a raised fist), and ever-smirking Ed.
