Scotto: Do we want to ask Christine Quinn about running for mayor?

Quinn: I hear you are for Marty.

Kelly: She is for Marty. She is more of a Marty cheerleader than Marty.

Scotto: I am an independent thinker here. And I am not endorsing anybody on "Good Day New York." But there is a lot of talk about you running for mayor.

Quinn: And it is very flattering and very gratifying.

Kelly:  Very flattering! You make it sound like...Wait a second. You've raised a lot of money.

Quinn: I have raised a lot. A girl needs to be prepared.

Kelly: And it's for a mayoral campaign, right?

Quinn: It is for a citywide potential run. And at some point we will be prepared to talk about that. But here today we are talking about restaurant grading

Kelly: No, we are done with that. We will see what happens next. You are running for mayor.

Quinn: I have not declared that yet. It is certainly something I am considering.

Scotto: All right. Is that enough for you now?  I am just happy that she is here and is doing a great job for the City of New York.

Kelly: Apparently you've got a vote.

Quinn: I'll take two.

Kelly: Ahh. The jury's out. I've got to see the other candidates and take a good look at them.

 

Mr. Kelly of course is the son of police chief Ray Kelly, a rumored but apparently not candidate for may0r.
