I hae have to agree with Republican Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich that the current election lprocess favors wealthy candidate and freezes out most of the public from running for elected office. The end result can be witnessed in the 19th Congressional district where you wind up with a person who gets elected to office with no concept of what her responsibilites are to the people in her district.
