KCNA, the preferred news outlet of Kim Jong Il’s North Korean regime, covered recent Occupy Wall Street protests in Washington, D.C. with a rather detailed exposition of the “We Are The 99%” chants that have become a de facto motto of the demonstrations.
According to KCNA, rather than “We Are The 99%,” the rallying cry of the ”anti-capitalism demonstrations” is: ”The majority toiling masses who account for 99 per cent of the population are suffering from the economic crisis.” Good luck fitting that on a sign!
Since KCNA, which is short for Korean Central News Agency, always enjoys taking swipes at the American government, the outlet has chronicled Occupy Wall Street eagerly and extensively during the past few months. In late October, KCNA reported the protests proved the “vast majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the Wall Street.” Earlier that month, KCNA said Occupy Wall Street “shows the reality of the capitalist system put in peril.” Amazingly, several weeks later, capitalism still persists.
