Mitt Romney's Manhattan money raising adventures continued today with a breakfast fundraiser at the Grand Hyatt in Midtown. MoveOn.org showed up to protest him because they think he's the "Poster Boy for Wall Street and the 1%."

Mr. Romney's fundraiser, which costs a minimum of $500 to attend, is hosted by a committee of co-chairs including Jets owner Woody Johnson, former New York Congressman and Senatorial candidate Rick Lazio and former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld. MoveOn sent an email to supporters asking them to come with signs featuring the infamous photo of Mr. Romney and his colleagues playing with dollar bills during his days as CEO of the consulting firm Bain Capital and comparing him to the corporate raider Gordon Gekko from Oliver Stone's "Wall Street" movies.

"Activists will wave mock-campaign signs that read “Greed is Good! Romney-Gekko 2012 featuring the recently surfaced photo from Romney’s days as CEO of Bain Capital, where he raked in obscene profits as five of the companies under his firm's direction went bankrupt and thousands of workers were laid off. ... It is a disturbing display of greed and excess," the email said.

Based on photos of the protests posted online, it looks like approximately 10 to 20 people showed up for MoveOn's early morning demonstration against Mr. Romney.
