Herman Cain Believes Occupy Wall Street is a Pro-Obama Conspiracy

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain believes Occupy Wall Street is ruse designed to protect President Obama rather than a genuine protest movement. Mr. Cain outlined his opinion during an interview on “Live From The State Capitol With Fred Dicker.”

In the roughly two months since Occupy Wall Street began, Mr. Cain hasn’t been shy about his distaste for the protests and his belief they were ” planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama Administration.” In his conversation with Fred Dicker, Mr. Cain went into much greater detail about why he thinks Occupy Wall Street is a sham:

“I don’t know what they’re looking for and I don’t think they know what they’re looking for. Secondly, my impression is that they are directing their frustration at the wrong source. The source of their frustration, and I do believe that they do share some frustration with a lot of other people, it should be directed at this failed presidency, at this administration,” Mr. Cain said. “Wall Street isn’t the source of whatever problems that they perceive there to be, and the fact of the matter is, Fred, it’s not a movement. It’s not a movement.”

Mr. Cain also explained why he thinks Occupy Wall Street is unworthy of comparison to his beloved Tea Party.

“They try to legitimize what they’re doing by paralleling it to the Tea Party. The Tea Party movement and the Citizen’s Movement, as I call it they very clearly have stated from the beginning they were about fiscal responsibility, the free market system, getting government out of the way, and enforcing the Constitution, and not trying to rewrite the Constitution. This ‘On Wall Street’ stuff is not a movement,” Mr Cain said.

Mr. Cain ended his discussion of Occupy Wall Street by describing the real forces he believes are behind the protests.

“Quite frankly, nobody knows what they want and i happen to believe that it is just being spurred on by people who want to create a distraction from this failed presidency. That’s all this is doing,” Mr. Cain said.

Mr. Cain is currently visiting New York. He told Mr. Dicker that fundraising is the main purpose of the trip.

“This might be breaking news but there’s a lot of money in new york,” Mr. Cain explained.

  1. Cain has no idea what he’s talking about…if you heard his position on waterboarding people, then you know he’s not president material.
