New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s office just announced that he will host a 1 p.m. press conference at the statehouse in Trenton.

The press conference comes as speculation that Christie will jump into the presidential race has reached a frenzy over the last several weeks, and Mr. Christie has been said to be huddling with family and advisers as he weighs a decision.

The location of the announcement has led to speculation that Christie will announce that he is not in fact in running for president.
