Former Governor Hugh Carey will be laid to rest Thursday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Associated Press is reporting.

And The Frank E. Campbell funeral chapel in Manhattan  will hold Carey’s wake on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4:30 p.m. and from 6:30-9 p.m.

Carey served two terms as governor and seven terms in the U.S. Congress.
