The New York Times recently wrote that Governor Andrew Cuomo had "reneged on a campaign pledge to post online his private schedule of meetings with lawmakers and lobbyists."

The pledge was made during an October 2010 interview with the paper. "Mr. Cuomo, whose aides told one newspaper last week that his office had not kept a formal detailed schedule during Mr. Cuomo’s first two years as attorney general, pledged if elected to post his entire work schedule online, including meetings with lawmakers and lobbyists," the paper wrote at the time.

Today, I asked Cuomo what happened to those plans.

The governor said he's following through with his pledge to disclose his daily schedule.

"Did you get an advisory on today?" Cuomo said, with a smile. We were in the Javits Center, where Cuomo signed a bill toughening penalties against distracted driving. I replied by noting the advisory about an event isn't the same as his schedule of meetings with lawmakers. "I think I disclose on a daily basis where I am," Cuomo said. "And what my public schedule is. So, I think we've' been doing it on a daily basis, Azi."

Cuomos' lieutenant governor, Bob Duffy, said during one radio interview this May: "We have a governor who is absolutely transparent in everything that he does."
