One name that stands out from the Long Island regional economic council Cuomo announced this morning is James D’Addario, who donated thousands of dollars to Cuomo’s opponent last year.
D’Daddario, the C.E.O. of D’Addario and Company — an environmentally friendly music instrument manufacturer – donated $52,200 to Republican Rick Lazio’s gubernatorial campaign, according to state records.
Many of the 21 other members of this committee have sprinkled political donations on both sides of the aisle.
