Anthony Weinr’s Weiner’s congressional colleagues, Rep. Joe Crowley (who is also the Queens County Democratic Leader) and Nydia Velazquez, don’t go as far to say Weiner should resign. But they say he has been a distraction.
Case in point: the two were at a press conference in Queens to discuss the growing support there for legalizing same-sex marriage. The first questions Crowley and Velazquez got afterwards, were about Weiner.
