Anthony Weiner resides in a district where the voters are programmed like robots to pull the “D” lever 100% of the time.  Like Rangel, he couldn’t lose to a Republican opponent in a thousand years; only another Democrat in a primary could end his life time tenure as Congressman from New York City.  Democrats have a stranglehold on urban districts in cities throughout this country: Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Baltimore, Spokane, San Francisco and Los Angeles are no different.

In New York City there are only 4 ways an incumbent Democrat does not win re-election:
    1.  through retirement after 30-40 years in office.
    2. Attaining higher office, thereby vacating prior governmental office.
    3. Resign in disgrace due to arrest, conviction and incarceration.
    4. Drop dead while in office.

Other than that Mr.Weiner is guaranteed lifetime  tenure in Congress by his constituents.

    Just wondering…
Why do you think John McCain did so well in Weiner’s district? And (to a slightly lesser degree) Bob Turner, too?
